Why I Write

Some stories live in your head for years.

Not because you don’t care—because life keeps moving, language feels limiting, and the “right time” never arrives.

For a long time, I kept my books on hold.

I’m a designer by training, not a professional writer. I have always loved storytelling—plot, pacing, atmosphere, and the little details that make a scene feel real. But my command of English wasn’t where I wanted it to be, so I delayed the idea again and again. The stories stayed with me, quietly growing, waiting for a day I might finally dare to write them down.

Then life changed.

After a near-death experience, I looked at time differently. The “later” I kept promising myself suddenly felt uncertain. That was the moment I decided: the stories I’ve carried since 2022 deserve to exist—finished, shared, and read.

This website is the result of that decision.

The World I’m Building

1) MCS Files

Crime. Investigation. Secrets that don’t want to stay buried.
MCS Files is written for readers who love tension, puzzles, and cases that feel uncomfortably real — the kind where every detail matters, and every witness may be hiding something.

This series explores:

  • procedural investigation and evidence-driven storytelling

  • moral grey areas and human motives

  • the uncomfortable truth behind “official versions” of events

2) 《生死十記》(The Ten Chronicles of Life and Death)

Suspense. Modern wuxia action. Psychological conflict. A city with hidden rules.
生死十記 blends investigation and mystery with modern martial-arts intensity, psychological confrontation, and deeper questions about humanity.

It is written with a cool, controlled first-person voice — layer by layer, clue by clue — revealing truths that can shake a system, a city, and even the meaning of reality.

3) Simi Lan Sai Long Wu (What kind of nonsense is this?)

Singlish. Sarcasm. “Ya ya… right right…” energy.
This is my “say until shiok” book — a Singlish, satirical look at life in Singapore and the world in 2025.

It’s packed with:

  • humour and sarcasm (but still make sense)

  • everyday frustrations, public behaviour, social issues

  • “you see lah” observations about modern life

  • the feeling of: why like that one?

It’s not written to be hateful.
It’s written because sometimes, laughter is the only way to stay sane.

Why PDF First?

I’m releasing these books in PDF first because:

  • it allows faster publishing and updating

  • it keeps access simple for readers

  • it lets me see which stories connect most strongly with people

Physical books are still the dream — but I want to do it properly, with good design, good editing, and a format worthy of the story.

If These Stories Speak to You…

If you enjoyed what you read:

  • share the PDF with a friend

  • leave a short message or review

  • follow for updates on upcoming volumes

  • let me know which series you want printed first

Every read is a vote.
Every share is fuel.
And every bit of support tells me: keep writing.

Thank you for being here.
